  • Eligibility: Seniors 60 years of age and older; Adults with disabilities

A non-profit agency funded by the LHIN to provide services to seniors who wish to remain in their homes. The agency provides volunteer drivers for rides to medical appointments, banking, grocery shopping. Five days' notice is required. Flat rate for local rides. Rates for out-of-local-area rides are based on actual mileage.

Red Cross Grimsby Accessible Transportation Program

The Canadian Red Cross provides transportation for the frail, elderly and disabled in the community. The service is for those unable to use public transportation or private means, provided through a partnership between the Canadian Red Cross, Town of Grimsby and the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN.
