Grimsby Community Development Grant (GCDG) Program
The Grimsby Community Development Grant Program is intended to assist non-profit and charitable organizations by supporting community-based projects that seek to enhance the well-being of Grimsby residents. GCDG is a one-time pilot grant available for eligible projects for the 2023/2024 period ONLY. Conditions for eligibility are outlined in the Grimsby Community Development Grant Program Policy. Community Project Grant Program (CPGP)
The Town of Grimsby recognizes the important role that local community groups, clubs and organizations play in the wellbeing of Grimsby's residents. The CPGP provides funds (up to $2500.00) to qualifying eligible groups to develop and enhance programs to increase local participation. Downtown Façade Grant Program
The Downtown Façade Grant program provides a financial incentive in the form of a grant to aid in the rehabilitation, restoration, and improvement of commercial, institutional and mixed use buildings in Downtown Grimsby.
Street oriented exterior work that is in accordance with the Downtown Grimsby Design Guidelines (2009) and the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places may be eligible for the grant program.

Interested applicants are required to complete the Downtown Grimsby Façade Improvement Grant Program application form.
Heritage Restoration and Improvement Grant Program
The Heritage Restoration and Improvement Grant Program is intended to provide a financial incentive in the form of a grant for structural/stability work required to conserve and restore heritage features of properties; the conservation and restoration of heritage features of properties; and for heritage studies/reports/assessments for properties that are designated under Parts IV or V of the Ontario Heritage Act.
The grant is contingent on properties being designated under Parts IV or V of the Ontario Heritage Act or a Municipal Conservation Easement Agreement under the Ontario Heritage Act being registered on title of the subject property.
