ADMISSION BY DONATION - Voluntary donations may be given in support of valuable museum functions such as: caring for museum collections, education programming and community services.

Appointments are not required for visiting the museum galleries.
Appointments are required for research requests and other special requests.
Please note that throughout the year there may be times that we are open, however our exhibitions are not open due to exhibition change over or building maintenance. Please contact us directly if you have any questions about what exhibitions are open today.

Fragile: Handle with Care – Glass and Ceramics in the Grimsby Museum Collection – January 2025

This is an in house exhibition that will showcase the museum’s ceramic and glass collections while highlighting stories of Grimsby’s history including Brights, Doc Fitch, Palmers store and many more

The Grimsby Museum’s first ever permanent exhibition is set to open April 2025! The exhibition explores Grimsby’s history through a journey from ancestral lands and peoples to modern times. With a hologram installation and interactive artificial intelligence, The Grimsby Museum invites you to experience history through a new lens.
