Tennis

Several neighbourhood parks in Grimsby have hard court surfaces that can be used for Tennis.

Grimsby also has four full sized Tennis Courts located at 46 St. Andrews Avenue. The Grimsby tennis courts are operational from mid May to October, weather dependent.  Two of the courts are available for public use during the hours of 9:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday (evenings and weekends are for club use only). The courts are unlocked for public access during public access time.

Some guidelines for using the courts:

• Adult supervision is required
• proper tennis shoes and equipment is required 
• please keep the gate closed
• water, washrooms and the clubhouse are not open so please bring all items that you may need with you
• courts are first come, first served on the 2 public use courts (the other courts are used for Grimsby Tennis Club activities)

During COVID-19:

• bring hand sanitizer with you
• only play same side doubles with those that are in your social circle
• do not share equipment
• minimize contact with high touch surfaces
• maintain physical distancing from others
• stay home if you are feeling unwell
