Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee

The Town of Grimsby is excited to welcome back our Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC). MYAC serves as a platform for young people in the community to have a voice, contribute to decision-making processes, and actively participate in shaping their community's future.

The purpose of MYAC will include

• To identify and inform Council of important matters affecting youth in Grimsby
• To act as positive advocates for youth
• To promote positive and meaningful activities and events for youth in partnership with the community
• To actively seek input from youth on important matters
• To provide leadership experience for youth 
• To develop and create MYAC-led community events

Meeting Information

MYAC will meet regularly on a monthly basis beginning September 2024. Details on the time and location to come.

Becoming a MYAC Member

Please note applicants must be Grimsby residents between the ages of 13-19.
