Council Strategic Priorities

2023-2026 Strategic Priorities

On March 20, 2023, Council approved the 2023-2026 Strategic Priorities document. The priorities are centered around making Grimsby an innovative, vibrant community where people and the environment matter.

In total, the 2023-2026 Strategic Priorities document includes 3 strategic priorities, 11 directions, and 34 actions – all of which will be used to guide the Town’s operations throughout the term, and align the Town’s objectives as a whole. The priorities are as follows:

• High Quality of Life – Supporting happy, healthy lives in a well-connected, inclusive community
• Responsible & Progressive Growth – Fostering vibrant neighbourhoods while protecting our natural environment
• Collective Prosperity – Driving innovation and collaboration in our local economy to benefit everyone

Grimsby’s Town Council would like to thank those residents who provided their invaluable feedback through the public consultation process, and invites everyone to read and review the completed document.
