The Town of Grimsby owns the municipal drinking water distribution system and wastewater collection system. The following are maintenance services performed by the Town's Operations Centre Department:

• Water meters and water meter inspection requirements
• Water services and disconnections
• Watermain breaks
• Water shutoffs
• Water sampling
  • (private water testing requests can be made through West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Lab)
• Water Leakage, Flooding and Drainage
• Fire hydrants and Annual hydrant flushing
• Wastewater main
• Wastewater laterals
• Region of Niagara Sewer Use By-law

A financial plan for the Grimsby water distribution system has been put into practice as part of the Ministry of Environment's Municipal Drinking Water Licence Program.
