Please be advised that Woolverton Road between Main Street W. and Ridge Road W. is closed to all through traffic beginning at 12:30 p.m. today, August 4, 2026. The road is expected to reopen at approximately 4 p.m.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible.
Applications are now open for two Community Grant Programs - the Grimsby Community Development Grant Program (GCDG) and the Community Project Grant Program (CPGP) - that support local initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life for Grimsby residents.

Town of Grimsby Public Works crews are actively responding to localized flooding and stormwater issues across the community from recent heavy rainfall.
Another week of work has wrapped on the Downtown Reimagined Project! Crews are completing watermain, sanitary lateral, and hydrant work on Elm Street between Forty Mile Creek and Mountain Street. Because this work is close to the Elm Street and Mountain Street intersection, additional traffic control and police presence have been added to support safe traffic movement through the area.
In observance of the upcoming Civic Holiday, please be aware that Town Hall, the Grimsby Museum, the Grimsby Public Library, the Grimsby Public Art Gallery, the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre, and the Operations Centre will be closed Monday, August 3rd.

The Town of Grimsby is inviting entrepreneurs, start-ups, micro-business owners, solopreneurs and aspiring business owners to connect, learn and grow at the inaugural Grimsby Start-Up Showcase on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
A new 4-way stop is now in effect at the intersection of Ontario Street and Clarke Street following a review of traffic volumes and intersection operations conducted by the Town of Grimsby and Niagara Region. As traffic volumes have increased over time, the intersection was reassessed and determined to meet the warrants for all-way stop control.
Please be advised that Park Road between Bell Avenue and 30 Park Road is closed to through traffic effective Friday, July 24, 2026, until further notice due to emergency road work.
Another week of progress on the Downtown Reimagined project sees crews continuing watermain installation on Elm Street between Forty Mile Creek and Mountain Street.
