Hydrant Flushing
Annual Watermain Maintenance Program
From April to mid-July, Town staff flush all fire hydrants. The following general schedule is used for the program:

| April 5th-16th | North of QEW from Roberts Road easterly to Nelles Road North |
| April 19th - May 7th |
North of QEW from Nelles Road North easterly to Grimsby/Lincoln Boundary and North of QEW from Roberts Road westerly to Grimsby/Stoney Creek boundary |
| May 10th - May 28th | South of QEW from Elizabeth and Mountain Streets westerly to Grimsby/Stoney Creek boundary |
| May 31st - July 2nd | South of QEW from Elizabeth and Mountain Streets easterly to Grimsby/Lincoln boundary |
This process will take approximately 14 weeks to complete and may temporarily result in cloudy water conditions. The quality of the drinking water will not be affected; although, it may be necessary to run your cold water tap only for a short period of time and possibly remove and clean the tap screen.

Recommendation
It is recommended that consumers refrain from washing light colored clothing articles on the days indicated for their area.
