Grimsby’s Century Condos Project is Presented with Three Awards from the Ontario Home Builders Association

On September 20, 2022 the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) hosted their annual Awards of Distinction night.

Each year, the OHBA celebrates and honours building excellence from across Ontario. The Awards of Distinction night recognizes the creativity, innovation, and talent of land developers, builders, renovators, designers, and marketers within the industry and the projects they are building.

On this prestigious night, Grimsby’s Century Condos project was honoured with three awards, including:

• Architectural Design: Mid-Rise Building (4-10 Storeys)
• Image & Advertising: High or Mid-Rise Ad Campaign (4+ Storeys)
• Prestige Award: Project of the Year – High or Mid-Rise

The Century Condos project is a heritage-inspired project being built in Downtown Grimsby. The 4-storey boutique residence is artfully designed to blend the rich history of Grimsby with modern elegance. In addition, this project will feature a geothermal heating and cooling system – the first of its kind in Grimsby.

“There is always a balance to respecting our historic Downtown character and landscape, while still offering modern advancements and environmentally sustainable designs. For this project we were able to do both, and it is an honour to be recognized by the OHBA for our commitment to heritage and the environment with the Century Condos project” said Mayor Jeff Jordan.

The Town of Grimsby would like to thank DeSantis Homes, McOuat Partnership, Tomas Pearce Interior Design, and KNYMH Inc. for their creativity and dedication towards this project. As well as the Urban Design Review Panel, Council, and Staff for their guidance, leadership and hard-work.
