Nominations now open for Grimsby’s 2023 Civic Recognition Awards

Every two years, the Town of Grimsby looks to its residents to nominate local residents and organizations that deserve special recognition for their outstanding contributions and accomplishments. Until March 17^th, nominations are open under four categories to provide an opportunity for the Town of Grimsby to thank the community members that make Grimsby such a great place to live.

“Our community is privileged to have so many individuals and organizations who give their time for the benefit of our Town” said Mayor Jeff Jordan. “The Civic Recognition Awards are a perfect opportunity to give thanks to our community champions and I encourage all residents to consider submitting a nomination.”

After a two year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Civic Recognition Awards Ceremony will be retuning in person on May 25^th. Recipients, their families, and the public will be invited to join Town Council for presentations and light refreshments. The event location will be announced in the coming months.
