Regional Road 81 (Main Street East)

Motorists and the general public are hereby advised that the westbound through lane on Regional Road 81 (Main Street East) between Elm Street and Kingsway Boulevard, and the sidewalk (North side) between Elm Street and 35 Main Street East will require a temporary closure beginning on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, to Friday, February 27th, 2026 (or until completion).

The lane closure is required for the DeSantis Homes Century Condos development.

Businesses and residents will have access during the lane closure and should expect traffic pattern changes and delays. The westbound left turn lane will temporarily be used for through traffic, and a temporary pedestrian signal for safe crossing will be installed on Main Street East at Kingsway Boulevard.
