Significant Weather Event Declared

Due to significant snow accumulation and freezing rain expected over a 24-hour period, the Town of Grimsby is declaring a Significant Weather Event effective 6:00 p.m. February 12, 2025.

Residents are reminded that when a Significant Weather Event is declared, it does not mean all Town facilities are closed or that programs are cancelled.

Residents are advised that all roads and sidewalks maintained by the Town may take longer than usual to clear and restore to regular winter operating conditions.

Drivers and pedestrians should use an appropriate level of caution when travelling and avoid unnecessary travel.
