Significant Weather Event Declared

The Town of Grimsby declares a Significant Weather Event.

Due to substantial snowfall over the past 12 hours and expected accumulation in the next 12 hours, the Town of Grimsby has declared a Significant Weather Event, effective at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

The public is advised that all roads and sidewalks maintained by the Town may take longer than usual to clear and restore to regular winter operating conditions.

All Town facilities are closed and scheduled programs have been cancelled for the rest of the day.

Drivers and pedestrians should use an appropriate level of caution when travelling and avoid unnecessary travel.
