  • Yard Waste Collection
    The Town of Grimsby is kindly reminding residents not to rake or deposit leaves and other tree fallings onto the roadway. Doing so can pose a serious safety concern to drivers and pedestrians, as well as leading to increased occurrences of plugged catch basins and drains.
  • Woolverton Access Road Closure

    Woolverton Access between Main St W and Ridge Rd W will be closed to traffic on Thursday, November 23, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for tree removal (or until completion).

  • Public Meeting Notice – Strategic Parking Management Study

    Town of Grimsby staff are in the final stage of our ongoing Strategic Parking Management Study, and we want you to be a part of the discussion.

  • 2024 Dog Licenses
    We are currently working on a new licensing system for 2024 dog licences. Please stay tuned!
    Until that time, 2024 licences have been paused and no fines will be issued until further notice.

  • Discharge of Firearms and Bows By-law

    On Monday, October 16, 2023, Town Council voted to maintain the current practice of no discharge of firearms or bows anywhere within the Town of Grimsby, on land or water for the purpose of hunting.

  • Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week

    November 1 – 7 is Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week! The Grimsby Fire Department wants to remind everyone about the importance of having working Carbon Monoxide alarms in your house. Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odourless and colourless gas known as the “Silent Killer” because it is undetectable through our senses. For this reason, it is crucial to have detectors that can protect you from this toxic gas.

  • Elizabeth Street Road Closure

    Phase Two of the Niagara Region “Grimsby Watermain Replacement Project” is underway and the work necessitates a temporary closure of Elizabeth Street, from Clarke Street to Carnegie Lane. The closure will commence on Thursday, October 26th, and it is estimated the road will remain closed until December 8th.
