  • A Message from Mayor Jeff Jordan

    It has come to my attention that a number of candidates in our municipal election have experienced theft or vandalism of election signs.  This is unfortunate and disheartening and these types of actions are both unlawful and unwelcome in Grimsby.

  • Sports Related Objects on Municipal Roadways

    The Town of Grimsby is responsible for the control and maintenance of local municipal roadways within the Town. We are therefore mindful of any sport-related objects (e.g. hockey nets, basketball nets, skateboard ramps, etc.) placed along the municipal road edge that could interfere with municipal operations or provide a conflict with pedestrians and/or vehicles using the roadway.

  • Alternate Voting Options Available for the 2022 Municipal Election

    The Town of Grimsby will have alternative voting methods available for those unable to cast their ballot on Election Day - October 24, 2022.

    The Town of Grimsby will offer the following opportunities for advance and alternative voting.

    On September 20, 2022 the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) hosted their annual Awards of Distinction night.

  • National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

    September 30th is the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. It is a day to reflect on the painful and lasting impacts of residential schools in Canada, to honour survivors, their families, and their communities, and is an opportunity for residents, Town Staff, and Council to take part in the journey towards reconciliation.

  • Four local centenarians recognized at Deer Park Villa as Grimsby marks 100 years

    With the Town of Grimsby celebrating 100 years in 2022, Mayor Jeff Jordan and Town Staff stopped by Deer Park Villa and Suites to visit with four Centenarians and present a certificate recognizing their shared accomplishment with the community.

  • Temporary Railroad Track Crossing Closure

    Kelson Ave North railroad track crossing will be closed all day for CN Rail to preform maintenance on Wednesday September 14, 2022 from approximately 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

  • Temporary Road Closure - Victoria Ave/Temple Lane

    Victoria Terrace/Temple Lane between 3rd St and Betts Ave will be closed to traffic Friday, September 2, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Grimsby 100 Celebration arrives in Downtown Grimsby on September 24th

    The Town of Grimsby is turning 100, and the Town of Grimsby is throwing a giant birthday party for the whole community to celebrate! Join us for the once-in-a-century celebration on Saturday September 24 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. as we mark the 100 year milestone as a Town.
