  • Launch of the 2023 Strategic Parking Management Study

    The Town of Grimsby is undertaking a Strategic Parking Management Study to address existing and anticipated parking issues and leverage opportunities to enhance their parking management system, which includes infrastructure, policies, and programs. The two study areas include the Historic Downtown Grimsby Core (Downtown Grimsby) and Grimsby on the Lake. Study area maps are provided on the Let's Talk Grimsby project webpage.

  • Grimsby's Town Council Approves 2023 Budget

    At the Council meeting of April 3, 2023, Town Council approved the 2023 Budget.

    Council approved the 2023 budget with a 5.97 per cent increase to the Town’s portion of the tax levy, for an overall property tax increase of 6.30 per cent when combined with the regional and educational levies. The 5.97 per cent increase to the Town’s portion of the tax levy results in residential property taxes increase by $97 per year ($8 a month), for an average residential household assessed at $442,000.

  • Public Notice of Annual Hydrant Flushing

    Commencing Monday, April 3rd, 2023, Town crews will be flushing all fire hydrants as part of our annual water main maintenance program.

  • Winter Maintenance of Municipal Roadways

    Residents are reminded that Section 170 (12) of The Highway Traffic Act prohibits the parking or standing of vehicles on any roadway in such a manner as to interfere with the clearing of snow from the roadway.
