    Unlimited Access to LinkedIn Learning Now Available Through the Grimsby Public Library

    In partnership between the Grimsby Public Library and LinkedIn Learning, anyone who lives, goes to school, and/or works in the Town of Grimsby will now have unlimited access to thousands of courses through LinkedIn Learning.

  • The Town of Grimsby Appoints a New Director of Finance/Treasurer

    Town Council and Chief Administrative Officer, Sarah Kim, are pleased to announce that Stephanie Nagel has accepted the position of Director of Finance/Treasurer at the Town of Grimsby. The Town is excited to find a candidate who will not only meet the many demands of the Director of Finance/Treasurer position, but will also bring great experience and leadership to the role. Stephanie will begin her tenure with the Town on September 11, 2023.

  • Temporary Road Closure - Main Street East

    Main Street East, from east of Vanderburgh Lane to approximately 60 meters east of Dorchester Estates, will be closed to traffic on Monday August 28 to Friday September 1, 2023. This road closure is required to install watermain and sanitary sewer for the 240, 244-248 Main Street E Subdivision.

  • South Service road reopening on Monday August 21st at 6pm.
    Regional Road 40 (South Service Road) between Nelles Road North and RR14 (Bartlett Ave.) will be reopen on Monday August 21st at 6 P.M.
  • 2023 Watermain Rehabilitation Project

    This notice is to advise residents and businesses that Peters Construction Group will be starting underground construction works on the streets listed below. The anticipated construction start dates are listed here but could be subject to change due to weather, construction progress, etc.

  • Town of Grimsby Council Appoints Chief Administrative Officer

    The Town of Grimsby is pleased to announce Sarah Kim has been appointed as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Grimsby. Sarah Kim has been previously working in the Acting Chief Administrative Officer role since December 2022.

  • Councils of the Township of West Lincoln, Town of Lincoln, and Town of Grimsby Hold Special Meeting

    The Councils of the Township of West Lincoln, Town of Lincoln, and Town of Grimsby held a Joint Special Meeting on August 9, 2023. The purpose of the meeting was to engage in a collaborative and proactive discussion concerning the potential future governance structure in the West Niagara Region.

  • Applications for the NEW Grimsby Community Development Grant Program are NOW OPEN

    The Town of Grimsby is excited to announce the launch of a new one-time pilot grant to assist non-profit and charitable organizations that seek to enhance the well-being of Grimsby residents through community-based projects.

  • Casablanca Waterfront Park Construction to begin July 10th

    The Town of Grimsby is excited to proceed with the Casablanca Waterfront Park development. Since the beginning of the project, there has been significant interest in this area. The connectivity and accessibility along the waterfront are a top priority for the Casablanca neighbourhood. The Casablanca Waterfront Project will span the waterfront area from Hunter Road to the Water Treatment plant (with the easterly development area to be completed later).

  • New CLI-ECA Approval Process for Sanitary and Stormwater Alterations

    The Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) has recently introduced a new sanitary and stormwater approvals process, referred to as the Consolidated Linear Infrastructure Environmental Compliance Approval (CLI ECA). The CLI ECA is meant to create an efficient process for low-risk projects, provide clear, transparent and consistent requirements, improve environmental protection and establish a more comprehensive picture of sewage works across the province.
