  • Nominations now open for Grimsby’s 2023 Civic Recognition Awards

    Every two years, the Town of Grimsby looks to its residents to nominate local residents and organizations that deserve special recognition for their outstanding contributions and accomplishments. Until March 17th, nominations are open under four categories to provide an opportunity for the Town of Grimsby to thank the community members that make Grimsby such a great place to live.

  • Sale Of Land By Public Tender

    Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands described below and will be received
    until 3:00 p.m. local time on March 1, 2023, at the Grimsby Town Hall, Municipal Office, 160 Livingston
    Avenue, Grimsby Ontario.

  • Reminder - PIN Number Required for Property Taxes

    As previously communicated, in an effort to increase security on the release of tax information, the Town implemented the use of a PIN, effective January 1, 2023.

  • Town Facilities Closed December 23rd due to inclement weather

    Please note that due to inclement weather all Town of Grimsby facilities are now closed for the day.

  • UPDATED - Temporary Road Closure at Mountain Rd.

    Mountain Rd between Ridge Rd W and Kemp Rd W will be closed to all traffic on Thursday, December 15, 2022 until further notice due to a motor vehicle accident and electricity related repairs.

  • Town of Grimsby statement regarding the departure of Harry Schlange, Chief Administrative Officer

    The Town Council of Grimsby and Harry Schlange, Chief Administrative Officer have mutually agreed on Mr. Schlange’s departure from his current position effective December 5, 2022. Harry Schlange joined the Town of Grimsby in July 2019 as the Chief Administrative Officer. “I was very fortunate to lead a great team that has led the way for significant and major accomplishments that will have a legacy impact on Grimsby’s future. I wish Council and Staff much success this term,” stated Harry Schlange.

  • Notice: Winter Maintenance of Municipal Roads

    Residents are reminded that Section 170 (12) of The Highway Traffic Act prohibits the parking or standing of vehicles on any roadway in such a manner as to interfere with the clearing of snow from the roadway.
